Who am I? Well I’m Dasher, Shanequa Dasher that is. and I’m excited to help you enter a world of crafty fun. I’ve been a DIY/crafty girl for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the south between Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee, and as an only child for the first quarter of my life, creativity was a requirement. After graduating college at Florida A&M University, I spent a decade in the classroom as a primary grade teacher and I retired early to pursue my passion as a creative entrepreneur. I am now a published author, the co-owner of The Art of Confidence Foundation (A performing arts company for kids), and the owner of Dasher Creations which provides crafty, creative, educational and engaging courses, content and events and for busy moms(like me, phew) and their children.

I now reside in Atlanta, Georgia with my beautiful daughter Kayla(9) and handsome giggly son Kyler (4). I love to shop, serve others, laugh uncontrollably, make beautiful things, and travel to explore local and international culture and adventures.

What to Expect Here

Expect exactly what my blog name tells you. “Dasher Made Me Do It”! It’s time to get creative with me. I promise it’ll be tons of fun. I’m here to share fun kids crafts, tips and guides, and mom hacks to solve a few of the problems we all encounter as moms. I looooooove feedback and community, so if there’s anything you’d like me to create or discuss for the blog message me and I’m all ears and action if its within my wheelhouse.
